The wines selected by Provence and Wines

The wines selected by Provence and Wines reflect the great diversity of the soils of the vineyard of Provence, and are mainly:

  • Wines of gastronomy, of which the majority is on the wine cards of prestigious Michelin starred restaurants and other internationally rewarded-tables,

  • Wines of a good aromatic complexity ratio/price. The aromatic complexity of a wine is function of the techniques of vinification used, the assemblies of the various grape juices which generally compose a wine, and technics and conditions of breeding of the wine.

  • Made from grapes cultivated according to the standards of the European Organic farming and/or the principles of Reasoned Agriculture, in the respect of the soil, the environment and the health of the consumers,

Produced by teams that commit to the quality of their wines. It is really not a matter of mass production and standardized taste.

Each selected wine was evaluated and tasted on the spot, in the presence of the Director of the Vineyard. The installations were visited to concretely appreciate the conditions of breeding and vinification of the wines.

The Provence and Wines selection is also based on the opinions of other experts whose appreciations are published in the most recognized wine guides such as the Guide Hachette of the wines, the Guide Bettane and Desseauve or the Revue du Vin de France.
